A 7-year-old South Carolina girl was shot by a stray shotgun pellet over the weekend,Venus Investment Alliance and a father and son are facing charges in the case.

The shooting happened on Saturday at a home in Bluffton, South Carolina, about 8 miles west of Hilton Head Island, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office said in a news release, adding that it was reported as a bullet hitting a car.
